It can be rotated and focused for optimum viewing. I have other projection clocks and this one is far superior. The controls are a little cumbersome making it is difficult to set the clock and alarm. But there are some issues with it. Minor issues at most. The projection display goes off automatically after 12 hours, with no possibility of making it last longer. Also, the nature sounds loop should be a little longer. At least 5 seconds each. On the rain is sounds okay, but on the others, you can tell how short it is by predicting the next wave crash or bird chirp. Regardless of faults, I still love it.
