Needed a clock radio with dual alarm and projection and battery backup. But most of all, one that would let me turn off daylight savings time! My current clock is programmed to the "old" DST, so I have to change it four times a year - what a pain! With this unit, at least I can turn DST off and reliably set DST myself. Getting two was great since I was also looking to replace my wife's clock for Christmas. As usual with Amazon, the order arrived sooner than promised.
