The jWIN JL106BLK Compact Digital Alarm Clock fulfills all of these requirements -- and is almost perfect.LIKE * Attractive matte black color. * Small size (4-5/8"W x 3-7/8"D x 1-7/8"H). * 5/8" tall digital numbers that are visible from across the room. * Simple-to-set time and alarm. * Effective buzzer alarm (loud enough, without causing cardiac arrest). * Easy-to-recognize-by-feel snooze button that's the width of the clock. * Red indicator light when alarm is turned on (strangely labeled "AUTO" instead of "ALARM"). * 9v battery backup in case of power outage. * Reasonable price. The design could not be simpler or easier to use - no instruction manual required, although one is included. Buttons on the top set the time and wake-up time, a switch on the side turns the alarm on or off, and there is a 9-minute Snooze button and Off button on top. That's it. Works like a charm right out of the box. Insert a 9V battery (not included) to keep it running during power outages and you're set. Display is clear with good visibility.
